We offer specialist advice on sensitive repair, maintenance and the management of change in historic environments.
With extensive experience in conservation principles, heritage planning and impact assessment, we help secure appropriate consents and identify the right skills and materials to achieve sympathetic outcomes. We also provide support with grants and statutory approvals for Listed Buildings, Scheduled Monuments and properties within Conservation Areas.

We carry out focused investigations into building defects, deploying specialist partners and non-invasive inspection techniques to minimise disruption.

Glyn Young
Glyn Young is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience advising clients across the north of Scotland.
He previously served as Lead Surveyor for the Highlands and Islands at the National Trust for Scotland, where he developed extensive expertise in the conservation and management of significant historic properties.
In 2016, he established his own practice to provide independent professional advice to a broad range of private, corporate and charitable clients.
