Re-thatching of a 16th century Cromarty Hall House
Working closely with the Thatcher, Graham Carter, we developed a project to renew the covering on this A listed structure within the Conservation Area of Cromarty.
The works benefited from HES grant assistance.
Traditional detailing was reinstated, recording and analysis of the original roof structure was undertaken, and lime coatings to the exterior renewed.
